Las Manos del Doctor Moore. A Diego Rivera painting.

When I look at this photo, I see a delicate and preserved object being torn apart. In the tree, I even see attributes of a woman or a person spreading their arms out to the world. I see within the tree, a trapped or lost spirit wishing it could be free. To me, this painting feels spiritual, sacred, and has its own description of beauty. It feels like the artist created the concept of this painting out of deep internal feelings. What I especially like about this painting, is the fact that in some ways, it explains that same sense there is a feeling of mystery. This painting speaks to me, because, it’s saying that as a person, you need to cut all the dead, bad things out of your life so that new and better things will come in and replace the bad.
